TPS stands for Toyota Production System, also known as “ Lean Production”, which is being studied worldwide.

Purpose of TPS

Produce high-quality product to satisfy customers’ requirement.
Making the vehicles ordered by customers in the quickest and most efficient way, in order to deliver the vehicles as quickly as possible.

TPS Basic Concept

■Customer First : Timely provide next process products with high quality and reasonable price.
■Reduce Cost: Eliminate wastes thoroughly in order to reduce cost.
■Just In Time : Produce and deliver necessary products in necessary amount when they are required.
■JIDOKA : Do not let workers be machines’ guards.
■Improvement : Do not produce・flow out defective products.
